Vetiver, a part of the long grass family, It has been cultivated for many reasons. Unlike many kinds of grass, the root system of Vetiver grows down over 20 feet, making it perfect for assisting in preventing erosion and increasing soil stabilization. Vetiver has a complex woody aroma that is used extensively in perfumes and other products. Due to Vetiver’s grounding, calming effect on the emotions, it is an ideal oil to use in therapy and personal care products.
